Prior to joining OPera, John was the Investment Director for PHD UK.

John graduated with a degree in Business Studies, specialising in Marketing. He started work with Dorland Advertising and then move into Zenith Media at its formation in 1988. Within a year he was appointed to the Board of Zenith, first as a National Press Director and then as a Broadcast Director for eight years.

After two years traveling and running his family’s electrical business, John returned to the media world in 1997 as an Independent Consultant at Mediacom.

In March 1998, John joined PHD as Deputy Broadcast Director, becoming Broadcast Director in 2000.

In 2001, John assumer responsibility for all media negotiation across the PHD Group as Investment Director.
